Sorry for posting this here folks, but just curious to know what happened to Brian Vitori?

He got suspended for bowling action and no one in ZC cared to work on his bowling? Or did he just walk away from ZC?

I do remember he played the last WCQ and that is when he was suspended.

Only Zim pacer who was capable of taking 300+ test wickets, what a viscious inswingers he had with pace, troubled Tamim in that 2013 series. The biggest surprise, how he was the only left arm pacer to be suspended for chucking ? Mainly right arm pacers are in that list.

Well I won't say he was as good but surely a decent bowler. Him getting called for chucking coincided with Zimbabwe's disastrous end to the WCQ. Streak, Ntini, Klusener were all sacked, and then I never got to know what happened to Vitori.

If memory serves his action started out ok enuf to survive scrutiny , but then he started bending his arm with his short effort ball and that may have started to creep into his other deliveries when he started losing pace. I recall he took a fifer on debut? Then next tour may have been NZ and he arrived badly out of condition and bowling low 120's.

It's a problem we have here- one man of match effort from someone and suddenly they're world beaters. The fancy hair-do and/or 20kg weight gain completes the all too brief moment of glory.

During his all too brief height of his bowling prowess he was really excellent, he would trouble the best batsmen.

I have an aversion to fat Zim cricketers. It's a fair indication they have taken their foot off the pedal, if it was ever on in the first place.

You'd be losing that round, all the crap that you subscribe to is about to hit its statute of limitations as they've moved onto WW3, the lies will soon be out. 😂

The lies have been out bro!

Hope you are keeping safe Zimdoggy

Yeah I'm ok. Was feeling sick to to my stomach a few weeks back. Have family in Ukraine and the whole thing hurts, not to mention the proximity and off chance of some type of nuclear disaster, whether Chernobyl or a warhead. And all the constant predatory remarks in Russian news. Makes zim cricket seem meaningless.
