Both Pak and now Bangladesh series had most of our senior players missing. Sometimes it irritates me a lot when our key players miss out important matches for whatever reason. We hardly get to play against good sides and don't have a bench strength to afford to lose them like this in the end.

We are all pretty excited about LOI and t-20s as Craig and Sean would most likely be back, but on the other-hand the selectors will also have to fit a WK, spinner and a captain. The only positive we have right now is, out of nowhere, we suddenly have youngsters knocking out the top order proven failures. Some of them are already filtered out but there is still some cleaning to do. For now, the most likely XI looks like

Wes

Marumani

Craig

BT

Williams

Chakavba(wk)

Tiripano

Chisoro(spinner)

Blessing

Ngarva

Can't marumani or Taylor keep in the 50 over matches.

I guess if chibhaba comes back he takes up either marumani or myers place which is frankly disgusting.

Wesley will be a shoe in as good 50 over form and a competent spinner.

Marumani is a horrible keeper! So I hope not!

BT has unfortunately said he doesn’t want to keep in anything longer than a T20 anymore :(

bd is alright in odi . If zim lost against sl then you would be right to not know anymore

Why? Poor domestic record. Averages 20. Only ever passed 50 twice in entire limited over career. Last Pro50 his scores were 25, 11, 2 and 1.

These ODI games are absolutely crucial. Realistically we need a minimum of 20 points, possibly 30 to have any real chance of qualification. Not the time to be giving cursory caps to mediocre club cricketers.

To think if we had decent openers in the Pakistan away one day internationals we could have won that series. Chari and chibhaba are not based on meritocracy
