Happy with Odis & T20Is, but not with Tests. ZC along with Cricket Ireland& Afghanistan should have a joint session talk with ICC regarding their future in test format before the next cycle of ICC World Test Championship 2021-23.One or two tests in a year is not enough for these teams to improve in the longest format.

Dissappointing that a test is reduced, it still means back to back series for Zimbabwe though considering they go to Ireland at the start of August.

Important 2 months of cricket there, esp the WSL games.

It's better for Bangladesh though. They get another T20 game before world cup

Disappointing that a Test got reduced but I guess thats the nature of the beast.

Hopefully our 2022 tour sees both Tests retained.

Zimbabwe will be ahead in tests as some of the Bangladeshi seniors doesn't give enough importance to test cricket. Shakib at 34, is very much vocal against not playing test cricket to prolong his shorter format career same goes with the Fizz who is injury prone, Mahmudullah Riyad also have been in & out of the test team, a shorter format specialist.

Hurdle for Zimbabwe will be Tamim at the top followed by Mominul and Mushfiqur Rahim.Bangladesh pace bowling materials also doesnt look having enough bite, Mehidy & Taijul are the one to create problems. Queens track has been sub continent like, provide assistance to spinners.Ray Price, Strang, Bishoo, Vettori has been top in the charts of taking most wickets, and if it remains same that will be the only positive point Bangladesh will have in the test series.

I've always been bullish about BD/ZIM series...but for some reason I'm quite nervous about this upcoming tour. Excited (as always), but I do think Zimbabwe have every chance of really hurting us - in all 3 formats.

Today national selector Habibul Bashar opined that some BD cricketers may opt out of Zim tour due to mental fatigue of continuous bio- bubble. Players are featuring in domestic league staying in Bio-bubble after back to back SL away & home series.

Wouldn't mind this at all. There are super league points to be won here. The weaker the better. Also is it true that if we win the test we go above Bangladesh in the test rankings? Dont remember where I saw that.

I'm also happy that there are some warm up matches scheduled. Our A team needs as many games as possible. Got a feeling Myers will win his call up at one of those games

My only concern is that Bulawayo conditions might not suit us. Very very strange decision. It tends to flatten out quickly

Also hope this happens. Especially hope Shakib and or Liton opt out of the Tests. We need spots for guys like Mosaddek, Nurul, Yasir to get chances since the selectors have wasted so much time investing in Mithun, Shabbir, and others.

Mominul, Shanto, Ebadat, Jared, Nayeem, and Taijul are all Test specialists so shouldn't have as much bubble fatigue.

ZC should have a speed gun equipment in domestic for measuring speeds of the fast bowlers.

Shabbir & Nasir was a quality player, both failed because of attitude. Few of the Bangladeshi Cricketers have such kind of non cricketing business that affecting their game and are getting faded away they should learn from Tamim, Mortaza, Riad or The Fizz, down to earth guys and are good gentleman. Shakib once had such problem now he came out of that as he now became an example for new players.

It's good Evey match in Harare is boring and doesn't do our players good in the long term. Plus the Harare pit h is not being curated to suit us anyway.
