For Zimbabwe, good to see Chatara back with economical spell with 3 wickets so far in the series he would like to add few more and is likely to make comeback in upcomming series against Bangladesh else it has been lovely to watch Zim youths Myers, Marumani & Shumba. Another performance like that last game and Zim A could legitimately make the series 2-2, which is something very commendable against South Africa A. Chamu came good last time out which was actually nice to see. I wouldn't be as opposed to having him in the ODI lineup if he could do this every now and then. Shumba, Myers and Marumani all look like great prospects, here's hoping ZC don't ruin their careers. As the person above me said, I'd give Ryan Burl if his finger really isn't broken, a go this game, punishing him for the twitter thing is absolute nonsense imo. In any case win or lose, this series really was a good initiative from ZC, the most important thing for guys like Marumani, Myers, Shumba is playing time and giving them this series as a chance to play cricket against a fairly strong team is brilliant for their development. Can't wait.

Before declaring it as absurd. Provide the official proof of Burl getting injured and which player is his replacement. Unofficial series at international level isn't a joke. I don't see someone who is so much brave to be vocal in social media will hide his injury from fans

If Burl was injured, he would'nt have been included in odi side which was declared on May 19. Burl tweeted about sponsorship on May 23, still there was no mention of his injury in media and the Unofficial Odi Series started on May 29th. If he got injured on 29th May or after, then he wont be able to participate in Unofficial test series to begin on 7th June as a minor finger broken injury requires minimum 2 weeks to recover 4 weeks in case of severe case

I agree with this team, cant have an average spinner in place of a top pacer. those 7 batsmen are enough for a good score.

Results are enough no need to develop negetive energy. Zimbabwe struggled against the associates & new test sides past few years, that even costed them CWC 2019

Zimbabwe is still a good side. If proper brains in approach of the game & few changes in coaching is made, Zim could still avoid qualifiers and play 2023 WC directly, recent T20 win against Pakistan proved that.
What Zim needs to know first is which condition suits them spin friendly, slow tracks or seam & swing pitch with assistance to pacers.Nayuchi & Muzarabani can even upset strong sides if they get assistance from that Harare or Bulawayo track. Havent seen such a good seam position at the point of release from a Zim pacer most recently, after Jarvis & Vitori
In teams like Zimbabwe, coach & captain should be the member of selection panel and play a role in selection along with 2 selectors.Williams, Rajput & 2 selector should be given free hand to make selection and discuss all about performances

I am agreeing with you about the conditions,over the past few years we have prepared pitches to hide our low to non existent stock of fast bowlers /seamers.
We had a few part time spinners come through, Williams, Raza, Madhevere,Burl,Wellington, most of them have been bits and piece bowlers.
I don’t know if much will change about the coaching and selection panel but I think we have a ok Selection panel.
The selections we have seen have been based on what’s available.I don’t see anyone missing out who should be in the team who has performed.
