He's still young He'll enjoy a good summer in Aus

Is he a dual citizen of the UK?

Why should he worry about Zimbabwe Cricket with what they are doing to Raza

U can't pay people but u refuse them to play elsewhere, where they can be played...

ICC & Coventry fire these ZC idiots

Without Rising Stars they probably wouldn’t pick him for a franchise side. They have to stick with the guys they’ve got until they go blind and die of old age.

Big choice for Jayden- drive to Kwekwe twice a week for half a season until the cricket is called off, don’t get paid the $20 you were promised or spend summer in Perth?

Decisions decisions. 😂

Is Rising stars dissolved for the next franchise season?

At his age he isn’t offering an occupational skill, it means that he is here to study or taking a working holiday visa if he’s a UK citizen, which I don’t think he is.

Or he’s taking a tourist visa meaning he’s only going to be here 3 months max.

He is not on a sporting visa because he hasn’t represented his country. That’s how mupariwa came here.

That’s why staying in zim and reaching international is a good career move. Means you’re an elite sportsman and can migrate on that type of visa.

Either way, I don’t think Jayden is here for a long time unless he starts slamming local muff and gets hitched. Unlikely. Cricketers aren’t usually the type to make girls fall head over heels in such a short space. They are too nice.

I’ve always been interested on how these guys get over here or to England to play club cricket, especially guys like Jayden who as Dogg pointed out isn’t an international player and hasn’t even played any first class cricket.

What’s the go? Who’s footing the bill for him to be here?

I can’t speak for England but here in Aus living day to day ain’t cheap, rent, food etc all very expensive. How much do the clubs pay for these guys?? Would someone like Jayden get paid? Surely a 20 year old from Zimbabwe wouldn’t have clubs lining up to pay him to play?

Some please explain

I think he’s just coming for a holiday to be honest. No way he’s on a sports visa.

If he’s got UK or Dutch citizenship, he’s on a WHV for sure.

Yes it is, although let's see what happens once ZC is dissolved...

So he would be footing the bill himself ??

Pretty expensive holiday to just play cricket

My guess is he would be working or doing touristy stuff the other 6 days.

Some of these casual low skilled workers are on good money. Friend came out here and was picking strawberries near Hobart for 25 US an hour. I used to employ call centre workers on about the same before commission. You’d be working 24 hrs after appplying. They would also have freedom to choose their own roster

I think he lived there as a kid for a few years.
