Cricket Australia's conflict with its players might leave a few countries stranded...we might be able to pick up a few crumbs off that table. Anyone know what Australian tours are under threat these next few months?

Just noticed that 'friend' of Zimbabwe cricket Jason Gillespie has taken over as coach of PNG, maybe a series against them could be organised. They do for all have ODI status ......

The Australian tour will almost certainly be cancelled I reckon. The players and board will come to an agreement, but it will be too late to prepare for Bangladesh.

Whatever may be, Zimbabwe tour to Bangladesh in 2014-15 for a full tour and in 2016 for odis & t20s. The news has been BCB rejected to make full tour Zimbabwe in 2016, and always try to bring Zimbabwe to compensate the gap when other country doesn't tour Bangladesh.Neither they seems intetested in sending their A Team to Zimbabwe.
At present Aussies are about to cancel their all fixtures tour of Bangladesh & India, for payment disputes. Zimbabwe doing well in Sri Lanka will again make BCB to invite Zimbabwe to play in Bangladesh. Zimbabwe should'nt accept this proposal if it comes, they should get Bangladesh to tour Zimbabwe first, then think again of touring Bangladesh.
IMO, it would unwise for the ZC to outright reject a tour of/with BD, for no reason. Unless the ZC feels their players have been playing a lot of cricket and need a break to remain fresh for future tours.
The BCB has so far honored all the FTP commitments vis a vis ZC. They have neglected to play A team series with anyone, so its not that they have been snubbing Zimbabwe. As far as a tour in 2016, the BCB does not like to arrange extra tours outside the FTP during their domestic tournaments for some reason, and I believe the 2016 tour of ZIM would have clashed with the DPL tournament. The BCB has also declined to play WI due to a clash with the domestic schedule, and very recently has even turned down a tri series with India for that reason. I don't agree with that practice, but thats what the BCB does. So its really unfair to blame the BCB.
If the BCB does propose a series to ZIM, I would hope the ZC accepts it. I wouldn't mind them playing an away series in ZIM either, provided the weather is good. The BCB has up till now, denied that they are looking at replacing Australia, but if they had to, my guess would be that they would try NZ or possible the WI.
Full Strength Windies are scheduled for a full tour of England in August - September, before they meet Zimbabwe for 2 tests in october.
New Zealand Will Tour India for odis/ tri series in october, Sri Lanka are expected to replace Bangladesh as per the source says. So, New Zealand will not accept to tour Bangladesh, as they played them frequently over last 4 months
If Australia cancells, the tour Option for Bangladesh are Pakistan, Afghanistan & Zimbabwe.

Kiwis has very less chance, better to say no chance to play a series in Bangladesh as they played lot against them recently.
If Pakistan skips, Afghanistan / Ireland tour to Bangladesh might be possible. As, Cricket South Africa has surprised by replacing Australia A for the tri nation series, praising their performance and improvement. BCB might think of hosting them or a tri series including Ireland.
On Zimbabwe point of view, they will be happy to host Bangladesh, rather then touring Bangladesh in September after one month break.

If they are the only team available they might say yes. They need the exposure to subcontinent conditions and have some scores to settle.
If the playing frequently thing made sense we wouldn't see another India vs Sri Lanka series till 2050.

I don't know if the BCB will invite AFG/IRE. Even if we do, I'd rather invite both teams for a one-off Test.

Did you get that from Donald Trump's Fake News agency along with New Zealand can't play a 4th bilateral series vs Banglaesh in 7 years and West Indies will automatically qualify for the WC? The Irish want to play Tests and they want to play England. The Afghans want to play Tests and they want to play India. Not sure where you read they have to play their debut matches against those teams.
At any rate, we don't even know if the BCB will look for a replacement. They are notoriously stupid that way.
We also don't know the Aussies won't tour. The 1st Test is still 6 weeks away and the CA and the ACA have made some progress recently. Aussies are civilized and both sides will realize sooner rather than later that they need to compromise and make a deal. I want to believe they can figure that out in the next 4 weeks and still have a week plus to get to Bangladesh. The squad was named weeks ago, so there is no preparatio needed beyond packing bags and maybe actually booking the tickets.

U will find, very soon at present both the boards are busy in convincing them to find a slot.
Playing frequently with one nation is not possible in modern times.
