Afghanistan I don’t think will last too long. Once Rashid goes I think they won get much better. Too much dramas in the country and I wouldn’t be surprised if some mullah in charge bans the game over there. I’ve read some have tried.
I think the real new kids on the block will be Nepal. Sleeping giant there with a large cricketing Base.
Personally I wish the Netherlands would kick on. They would be great tours. Doubt it’ll happen.

Most lucky teams have been Ireland and Bangladesh as they had very least achievement before getting test status.

Ireland had beaten mutliple Test sides at world cups and dominated the Associate level for over a decade before getting Test status. They beat Pakistan, Bangladesh, England, West Indies in successive World Cups. They got only a handful of chances and they took it.

Ireland have'nt been consistance in their trumphs have been once in a blue moon. They struggled against Bangladesh & Zimbabwe not even successfull in giving competition, only great thing about Irish Cricket is their Board, which has been effective in arranging fixtures and in 2019 Irish cricket will have busy schedule, hope rain doesnt damage the fixtures as their season seems starts in a Rainy season.
Ireland showed some character in their innaugral test against Pakistan and it seems they are taking this format for raising consistent performance in the games.

What do you mean once in a blue moon? They have played in only 3 world cups and have already knocked off 3 major sides, 5 if you include Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Every world cup they play in, they are beating 1-2 established sides. 2015 they were closet to qualifying for the quarterfinals. Their team might suck now, but the last 10-12 years Ireland has been a very tough side. They deserved Tests status far more than Afghanistan (who deserved it themselves) or Bangladesh.

Theres a big push to get a touring team in December. ZC dont care who but are trying all countries that havent already got commitments. Preferably a team that can pay their own way and then get reimbursed by the ICC
