T20 squad should be announced this weekend. Possibly they'll announce the Test squad at the same time, or wait a while, I'm not sure.

I don't think we'll win any games, that's my honest prediction. I do think we'll go okay in the test matches though.

Pakistan are a good side but also vulnerable, esp if you get Babar and Rizwan early, easir said than done but If they do Zimbabwe can sneak in a win.
Pakistan's bowling is really good though, considering Zimba we struggled against Afghans part timers, this is a very tough opposition bowling to face. This is the scary part for me.

I don't think we'll win any of the T20 games either tbh. But hopefully we can play some positive cricket and get a good idea of what our T20 team and squad is going to be heading into next years qualifiers. Thats the important thing.

So apparently Chibhabha picked up an injury in the T20 comp and thats why he isn't in the squad. NOT dropped. :roll:

Yup, Taylor, Ervine coming back will be a boost. I hope the younger boys step up as well.

Chisoro is an wicket taking option, he is always in the game whenever picked, can smash a few at the lower order. The only spinner of Zimbabwe who can bowl with the new bowl and can secure success.

End of the day Jongwe can lend ballance to the side as a bowling all-rounder. Mashinge I think is still a lot better, but he doesn't seem to be in favour right now
