ZCF Hall of Famer

Opening post

Starting this Thursday.

This game is being broadcast live in Australia on Fox Sports, which is a nice change. I think the last series that got aired here was the Micromax Cup (highlights only from memory), the last live series... ICC events aside I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was the Videocon Tri-Series in 2005 or Australia's tour of Zimbabwe in 2004.

Betterdays i got confirmation from Lankacricket during the India Aus match last night that he will be showing the match on lankacricket, lets just hope he is true to his word, he has never let us down yet!!!
I'm gonna be up from 2330hrs-0530hrs for the next (hopefully) five days. So I guess I'll sleep during the day and wake up at night.

These guys better not let me down

it depends how high your hopes are takleg...i'm hoping to get into the 5th day (and that the 3rd day of the warm-up was due to no pressure on the bats and little to gain for the bowlers - there were probably only two bowlers competing for a place in that game)

I guess now that New Zealand are the best test team in Australasia FOX will start broadcasting their matches.

Im disappointing that Jarvis is bowling at such a mediocre pace i must say

Control from the most unlikely source good bowling from Shingi

No doubt Shingi' smade the difference! But I'm glad to see Jarvis has come back with greater dicsipline! Although I have to say, Jarvis is our best prospect for a wicket. Just needs to bowl with more velocity! He has to, after knocking Meth out. What was he doing in the nets(assuming he struck Meth in the ankle while Meth was bowling to him)!

Already NZ are trying to do a few things different against Shingi - who says the meduim pace+discipline doesn't create enough pressure.

why could he not bowl like that in the one dayers.

I'm not sure what to say at this stage. Except perhaps to offer some encouragement! Go Zim.

Definitely good comeback this...and as Ive always said medium pace bowled with accuracy is a weapon it's not always about pace but guile and discipline is also a weapon.

Worries...Shingi pulled something...big worry...

Hami may well be the top bowler this innings.

"It looks like a pitch with a lot of pace and bounce and I'm very excited about what they [Vitori and Jarvis] have to offer," Brendan Taylor, the Zimbabwe captain, told ESPNCricinfo.

Opportunity wasted. I am awake since 0300 hrs only to find 98/0
