Opening post

Strangely, with just a few hours to go there is no match thread so there is now.

Huge day for Zimbabwe, who must think they have a chance here against the Windows on home soil.

Will proven matchwinner Graeme Cremer continue his run of rape and pillage and run through the Windian middle order?

Will Williams finally stand up and put to bed those who doubt his world class all round qualities?

Can 2x of our 8 man batting lineup stand up into triple figures?

Any word on Chatara? Or they prefer to keep him out because he isn't "in the squad". Hopefully the boys start well! All the best from us in Aus.

He should be the second bowler picked absolutely. It is just being stubborn if he isn't drafted in, on the premise he was ommited for injury purposes, when that was answered when he dominated the Logan cup last week.

Jarvis and Chatara are the only two bowlers I am confident of picking up 5 wickets between them

Yeah agreed, as much as Bobby is a fun character and toiled away. Hopefully we'll know soon enough.

As far Streak's media report, there is least chance of changes.Same XI going to play that was in first test.

There is a liitle chance for Chatara in for Mpofu.

Yeah, how a fit Chatara can't get into this XI is beyond me. Frustrating really.

But I don't think he was fit when they announced the squad. I would've included him anyway if we knew he wasn't far off full fitness.
