Tanak Chivanga and the return of Tari Musakanda the big headlines. No Jarvis or Chatara though who are both injured.

Is Jarvis quitting or injured? I’m confused now. Also Chatara is 30 this month. I think he is done. He is always injured and I doubt he can play a FC game anymore

No idea on Jarvis, at least 20 I would say, ,maybe even 22/23.

I would expect Kaitano, Mashinge, Mudzinganyama, Jongwe, Mufadza and Masuku to all be cut.

Only Zimbabwe could name a 30-man squad with 32 players .....

Interesting that the squads seem to have an eleven in batting order at the start of each. Coincidence ?

one of burl or pj wont make it. knowing mutendera et al, one of the white guys wont make the cut for the travelling squad.

19 days for 2 Tests and 3 T20Is.

you need 14 days for 2 tests (10 days of play with 4 days in between)...so I guess you can play the white ball in the remaining 5 days.

Yes. I think the real practice matches will be in the bubble in Abu Dhabi. They don’t even know how many people they are taking yet so it’s survival of the fittest

I’m sure Williams is sick if I recall what others said, but I think Craig and Bt should play. They need match fitness too.

I think Tari opened

As you said he’s in form and if he’s going to open he’d fix a lot of problems for Zimbabwe, especially in the limited overs formats. #chamuout

Busted a finger. He won't and does not deserve to be selected anyway.

If Tari opened then even better. Why didn’t Prince play this game? A Tari- Prince opening Pair might do ok. So that would mean Burl and Wes would be competing for 1 spot then. Has Williams recovered?

Mashinge also getting 5 wickets and a 50. He deserves a chance. He is direct competition for Tiripano. I would say Mashinge is a slightly better bowler whilst Don is a slightly better Batsman.

‘A’cricket would have answered a lot of our questions.
