Thanks for posting this RDS, this was an epic knock. That could have gone down in history as one of the greatest match saving knocks ever. That was the innings that turned me into a full-time ZimCricketFanatic :). More here...

You won't believe it, I watched every run Whittall scored in that painstaking innings. An absolute gem of a knock.

Man thanks for putting this one up. It was so totally out of this world. This was a period were no one was giving Zimbabwe a chance and us fellas had just gone to spend some time out. I have very vivid memories of this moment, things got real crazy with fans running onto the pitch (not shown in the clip). The joy was uncontainable.

Great to see the Chappie innings as well, a few shots that wouldn't exactly make the batting textbooks but fantastic stuff to watch, it reminded me in some ways of the famous Botham Ashes series all those years ago, am i that old :?

I was amazed by the Stuart Matsikenyeri run out though, was he unlucky or what ?, i really think that the Bangla lads should have withdrawn their appeal under the circumstances, but that's easy to say after the event of course.

I've heard a rumour that, under Health & Safety laws, all spectators will be required to wear crash helmets when Chappie and Boom Boom are batting together in future ........ :D

Were you there at the ground when he won the match for Zim? If you were there, I'm sure you would be relishing those memories forever.

I unfortunately didn't even get to watch it live on TV, and in fact got to know of these heroics only after visiting brmtaylor.com for the first time! Those were the days when we were getting no news about ZimCricket whatsoever :(
