With a massively successful T20 WC campaign under their belt, its time for ZIM to look forward and plan for the [real] World Cup in about 18 months time.
My prediction is that Taylor, Ervine, and Raza will all make the squad, barring any uncontrollable issue (ie injuries).

Burl didnt get selected for odis in 2025, he has to make a comeback and with Ngarava as captain, its 50 50
Taylor ervine 41 age by then so the only way they can be in the squad is if they keep on performing n stay fit.

Myers & Maposa need to stack up runs to be in consideration cuz maposa can only feature if he gets runs under his belt since Evans is 3rd seamer(who bats ok btw)

Clive or Tsiga will be backup WK to marumani and taylor if one is injured. If both taylor n marumani make it, clive might not even be picked
Sean Williams will definitely make a comeback. If he can get his sh*t together, he is our best ODI batsman.

As the world cup draws closer, the wicketkeeping position is becoming a serious concern. Madande, Marumani and BT have all underperformed with the bat. Should we now be looking at other options?
Panashe Taruvinga batted well last season, although I am not sure whether his keeping is yet up to international standard. It may be worth moving him to a franchise where he can keep regularly and develop that side of his game. He should also be included in every Zimbabwe A squad and, whenever possible, brought into the senior setup to learn from the international environment.
Matthew Welch could also push himself into contention if he is still up to it. He would need to find a franchise where he can keep regularly. Oh... and scoring a few runs would probably help as well.

I don't think Marumani has gotten enough of a chance at ODIs, there are 6 ODIs at the moment scheduled against Australia & India in the next 6 months. Those will be the most difficult fixtures, but it is an opportunity to cement his place. I have faith in Marumani
