The costs of hosting these matches would be much cheaper than hosting even a T20 international series
Maybe some reciprocity after Takashinga toured there?
Many of those guys are not Takashinga players so you know it’s not Takashinga paying for it. Its guaranteed to be ZC, but they’ve given Takashinga the money to host.
ZC supposedly don’t have any money from ICC yet so when Mukhulani was claiming he’d paid for something or other out of his own pocket we can now take that statement with a bag of salt 😂
The rains will hopefully arrive in a week or so, just in time for the start of our FC, as I stated. Nothing will change here, if anything it’s about to get worse.
I saw on twitter that Masakanda has now headed off to Australia.
And the farm invasions continue, my friends in Chinhoyi have just been kicked off their place by drunken aggressive disgusting people, doing their master’s bidding for a case of beer and some $5 Russian vodka.
Then the real owner will move on and strip the house if window and door frames and roof sheets, try and get some Command Agriculture loan money from the comfort of his house in Harare with no intention of farming or paying back the loan and let the productive farm slowly return to virgin bush. This is a mind boggling place.
Our President was at Lake Chivero last week and got angry because no one had told him that the pipe taking water to the Morton Jaffray water works for purification was broken. This is the dam that’s supposed to supply the 4 million people that live in and around Harare.
So looks like Uganda won most of the games on their tour? That Takashinga squad seemed quite strong with a lot of A team playets (Kunje, Kamunhukamwe, etc).
So what are the positive outcome of playing Uganda
It would have been more for Uganda's benefit. They used this tour as a decent warm up for their challenge league B tournament (effectively Divison 3) currently going on in Oman. They have just beaten Jersey in their opening game.
I was mesmerised. I ended up spendig about 15 minutes just browsing their site and seeing how they are doing things. Comparing it us and how far we have fallen.
For reference, when you google the Zim cricket website it just says, Zimbabwe Cricket - Under Maintenance. Then you click on that link and about 3 minutes you just get a splash page of the Womens team celebrating being Africa T20 champs. That took place in May. May!! It's been 6 months and they can't get a decent site operating.
I'm sure someone with very basic knowledge could run a much better site. ZC are probably paying someone big money for it too.
Under maintenance?! Surely they mean Under destruction?
My All-time Zimbabwe XI
Neil Johnson, Brendan Taylor, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), David Houghton, Sean Williams, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Paul Strang, Eddo Brandes, Blessing Muzarabani
There’s no good will in Zimbabwe nobody does anything for free and rightly so, they’ve been burned too many times before.
ZC are stupid they obviously keep hiring some under qualified digital media guys who don’t know how to build or maintain a website or to run their social media platforms.
I could do it easily for them for probably a fraction of the price they’re paying some dumb arse to sit there and drop a tweet every few days 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
A non functioning website and non existent media people and bought and paid for pet sports journalists is an entirely deliberate act. It would further highlight what pitifully little ZC do.
The very occasional things that they do they just phone one of their pets and it gets made into a story that surpasses the Boks winning the World Cup, the “journalist” gets his chicken nuggets and coke and he has to wait patiently for about 6 months until he gets told to write another story or we play cricket again.

Bangladesh cricket fanatic, observer of all others.
