I told you, these pitches are not easy, unless you’re on a first team county pitch par is around 140

You see some big guns warming up in Two’s cricket for these T20’s and more often than not they get 20-40 at 120%. Length balls wicket to wicket if the pitch is doing a bit is bloody difficult.

Jeez apart from those two that was a s**t show.
Not sure what to say...
Low full tosses should be hit along the ground, everyone thinks they can go aerial but you’ve got to hit it clean.
More bad news today, just received a call telling me that Ed Byrom’s family is moving to the UK. That’s a big blow I have to tell you. I really was holding out for him to get a big offer to come back here.

we are 20-30 runs short given that explosive outing by the southpaws. i have always had a soft spot for Slug. I believe that he can play the typical Joe Root/Kane Williamson innings when he is on song. I guess Rajput gave him the freedom and confidence to play his game. Good to see him play an attacking game. some great hitting from Willy as well.. Hamilton should surely consider retirement.. this is becoming a lot more embarrassing by the day to be honest. all his mates have all gone into coaching and its high time he looked himself in the mirror and made the call. Taylor mmh i just dont know. his poor scores away continue yet again but he really owes us a big one!

Short boundaries behind and huge ones square, it’s not rocket science.

Ervine is our opener without question.
BT , Moor And Burl ..2 of the 3 should open
Ervine at 3rd is the best
Sean Williams at 4th

The captain should sit this one out....I hope the new board would appoint new selectors and drop Hami from captaincy...

I think the response to this thread shows says it all.
Can't believe people still think Hamilton is good enough.

Depends on what "good enough" means. Good enough to consistently win games agains top sides? Not even Taylor is of that class given his overseas record and record in clutch situations. Good enough to compete against teams ranked around 10-12? Yes Masakadza was once good enough for that. He might still come back with some attractive scores vs excellent bowling lineups of Afghanistan and Bangladesh in a couple of months. But my assessment has always been that Masakadza was never good enough to lead Zimbabwe from the front for any considerable period of time.
