Opening post · Edited

A big game for both sides.

India will be desperate to atone for a disastrous tour of the British Isles, while Zimbabwe should need no greater motivation than the chance to topple the world champions.

It is difficult to predict which way this one will swing. Here’s hoping for a proper contest and an absolute cracker of a game.

I wonder how quick those Pakistan bowlers have been in the Logan cup last year. Wouldn’t be surprised if the reason they do so well is due to how quick the bowl.

Wes is looking very good.

If these two can stick to the end maybe 130-140

Raza the batter has been on a serious decline. That this point he should be playing as a bowler only

Wes could have easily got himself a healthy not out but sacrificed himself for the team.

Is it time for Sikandar Raza to retire?

Some puzzling running by Wes there, he wanted two, then just gave up, a dive would have saved him I'd say

That was a thrashing though.
Our batting order is messed up. Maru needs to open, not come in at 7. Raza can go there at this point.
Curran can come in at 3 or 4.
We can't have slow downs once we lose two quick wickets, it'll never be a winning side at this rate.

We were completely outplayed today. India didn't give us an inch from ball one. Wes, Maru and Blessing did alright.

We were about 100 runs short. If Bennett and Raza don't fire we really struggle. Credit to Wes for adding some respectability to the score.

Sooryavanshi is really something else though, those were not even bad balls we bowled, he just adjusted extremely well. Even the others were struggling, when he was smashing everything.

If he is managed well, and has people around him making sure he isn't taken advantage of, he has the potential to be an all-time great. He could play for the next 23-25 years! The biggest threat is that he falls off the wagon in the next 5 years.

Unable to watch the second innings.

Did anyone catch how quick our bowlers were bowling.

Amazing thank you so much.

Blessing generating good pace, with that short run up.

I wonder how quick Newman will get too.
