Bangladesh tour wrap

My only disappointment was the t20s, both sides didnt really have much to differ in the batting or bowling, it was just the fielding.
That too it wasnt Bangladesh fielding exceptionally well, it was us who were exceptionally bad.

Positives:
- Richie's captaincy. He read the game well and deployed his tactics effectively.
- Richie the bowler stepped up his game during this tour. He along with Muzarabani are now genuine match winners.
- Speaking of Muzarabani, he's right up there with Streak at this point. I hope he stays fit and plays well into the 2030s.
- Evans proved that he is capable will the bat. From what I saw, he could be an effective finisher in white ball cricket and a reliable number 8 in Tests. His bowling wasn't too shabby either.
- Newman showed up with a point to prove. And prove, he did. The kid has a bright future ahead of him.
- Ben Curran was solid at the top.
- Brian Bennett struggled in the ODIs. Some have suggested that he moves to 4 like he did in Tests. I still want him to open so that we take full advantage of the powerplay.
- Wes got some runs. I hope this is a turning point in his career.
- Dion Myers finally getting some runs. I'm still not convinced that T20 is his strongest format. Takes nothing away from his brilliant knock in the 3rd T20.
- Innocent Kaia returning to national colours and getting a hundred. He's a good player.
- Craig Ervine proved he can still deliver in Tests. Still good enough to hold down the number 5 spot.


Negatives:
- Craig Ervine is probably done in ODIs. It may be time to cut him loose.
- Brendan Taylor hasn't shown any signs that he is capable of performing at international level anymore. Is he adding anything of value or taking up a spot that should go to someone else?
- Sikandar Raza the batsman has been struggling. When was the last time he won us a game with the bat?
- Musekiwa.
- Madande.
- Shumba.


Overall, great series. We are a much better side than the one that was getting whooped by SA and NZ last year. One could argue the thrashings pushed the players to level up.

Largely have to concur with all of the above, can be broadly happy with how the series went

Batting somewhat of a mixed bag, Curran was quality once again, Wes looked really good and hopefully seems to be finding some consistency, and as for the T20s Myers played really nicely in the last game. Sadly it does look like Ervine's days are numbered, and Madande just can't buy a run in any format right now

Bowling was the biggest positive, Muzarabani Ngarava Evans and Nyamhuri is a genuinely formidable pace attack, the continued development of the latter is probably the most encouraging sign of all. Chipped in with lower order runs too, Evans especially. Still not clear who the best spinner in the country is, Welly still the same ok but limited bowler he always has been

Fielding on the other hand, especially in the T20s, was the biggest letdown. Absolutely plenty of room for improvement there
