Opening post

Need to take this thing seriously. Starts on the 21st-28th with the draft today. Last year each side had to have 6 Zimbabweans in their squad with 4 in each match day line up.

Two new sides owned by Sri Lankans and Bangladeshis

Here are the players signed before the draft

I don't feel that interested in it to be honest but hopefully having lots of experienced international guys will help the youngsters. Will be interesting to see which Zim guys get picked up.

The players are really keen on it because there's some good money in it for the guys lucky enough to be picked. That's if they pay, of course. Will they bring the outstanding monies from last year?

As I said last time, it's a great spectacle. Three games on the trot is damned good fun and I'm sure we'll see some high quality cricket.

What annoyed me last time is that the local guys who were picked were the older ones with some name recognition e.g Regis, Cephas, Mpofu, Ervine.

I hope this year the likes of Bennett, Myers, Kataio get picked up. I'm sure Naqvi will make the cut.

Knackers has disappeared again, but I'm sure he'll be back for the T10.

Did the draft even take place today? It was supposed to be streamed but nothing was shown.

Interesting that ZC have not been promoting this tournament, something very strange is going on!

It's clear that these crooks did no homework whatsoever, probably ignored good advice and took bad advice.

Picking Ballance and Curran would indicate they didn't have too much interaction with ZC.

This is entirely about the betting, if it wasn't clear before.

It’s a boozer league with pensioners like Robin Uthappa and Mohamed Hafeez, will be a lower standard than the NPL. Besides, how one performs is determined by Mr X and his cartel during the pre match team talk. Stuff like ‘Faraz, we want a no ball on the third ball of your first over, four wides on the second ball of your second over and want you to go for 27 runs in your spell.’

BT is the comeback everyone wants. He’s kept his nose clean, ZC should be able to curry some favour with the ICC and get six months wiped off his ban 😂

Not a single mention of the T10 in any ZC account. Last year they were all over it. Very strange.

They still haven’t recovered from handing over 30k prize money to the murungus on Saturday 😂 😂

100USD for a player of the match isn’t ideal but palatable. This is a whole other level of hurt for them.

SOGO Rhodesians winning was good for the game but has sent panic blazing through the boardroom like wildfire. Major embarrassment for all the suits so now they tread carefully.

Interesting. We might really be on the way to having different teams for different formats. We are well behind in that department

PCB refusing to issue NOC’s to Pakistan players for the Zim T10 as apparently the ICC has refused to sanction the tournament due to significant concerns about the organisers behind this and other T10 leagues.
