Bawa looked really good against South africa same as Navqi. Madhevere is down in pecking order now I think. Especially with myers coming back and doing ok

No chance. I would bet a lot of money that Madhevere is in the squad for the Pakistan series and probably plays at least a couple of games.

I think I already said this a week or two back to you on this same thread, but Makoni isn’t that terrible. Yes he should never have made that Test debut - that was a horrid selection.

But….I mean he’s not horrendous. Organised enough technique. Still young. Nice cover drive. Will never be a world beater and probably never good international quality, but there are worse players around.

I’m beginning to feel like he just isn’t good enough.It’s rare to see him play a comfortable innings. You always feel like he hasn’t completely settled. Not the kind of guy to score multiple centuries so what is his exact role in the team? It’s only going to get worse with other kids coming in. He won’t be able to use the youth tag much longer

Agree, never feel that he could grind out a century, or bat more than 100 balls in an innings.
