Not a great start for Zim, 164/1 after 31 overs, but then it is a 'development' side. No Sibanda here, so what are the odds of him appearing against Ireland tomorrow...?

The Afgans really having ago at the developmental side. with 264/3 after 42.3 over. Hope Vitori and Mupariwa can bowl better at the back end of the innings. Peak of the bowls so far Chisoro with 3/48 form his quarter.

No chance. ;) .There’s better odds of Hamilton Masakadza batting at three or four tmrw behind Chari and ahead of Williams. In fact, if life we were consistent then Williams ought to be dropped for the first ODI tmrw. He has been in "out of sorts", as Tawanda used the phrase to describe Hamilton.
My team would be:
1. Mtumbami to see if he can make that opening sport really his own thereby strengthening the whole team.
2. Chibhabha our breakout player of the year. No such run has been seen by any Zim batsmen since Andy Flower in 2001-2002, though the two are not wholly comparable.
3. Brian Chari. He hasn’t done badly so he stays.
4. Hamilton. Waller played badly so he gives way.
5. Williams. Need to find form soon.
6. Raza.
7. Chigs.
8. Mutombodzi stays. Let’s see what he can do.
9. Jongwe
10. Panyangara
11. Wellington. He’s due his chance

Whoa steady on mate!
Chibhabha's having a great year, for sure. But he's only scored 659 runs @ 47 from 15 games. Taylor scored 433 @ 72 in the World Cup alone :P

In as much as Williams' batting isn't up to scratch Conant, his bowling figures have been remarkable. We can surely forego one of Nyumbu and ???? and easily op for additional batsman. Anyone but Waller will do for me. Maybe get whoever performs today on the plane to Harare for tomorrow's game.
