Like Wayne James, Andy Waller, Grant Flower, Kevin Curran and Gary Brent etc, he comes from the old Zimbabwe School of fittness and commitment.

hmmm not sure this is a good thing alone. Our coaches need exposure to other countries and their training methods plus updating their skills yearly- fitness and commitment is so 30years ago and doesn't cut the mustard in todays age.

Not sure if you are confused at the mustard saying or the fitness and commitment??

If fitness and commitment was the be all and end all to cricket then Mangongo would be the best coach in the world!!

Commitment

Fitness

Mindset/psychology

Skills

Fitness and commitment to the game are easy to address- it's just hard work.

Skills are achieved a long time before they get to U19 level.

All a franchise coach needs to do is upkeep skills and work on the psychology of the game which they are very very very very poor at doing.
