I agree betterdays, Chinyoka was commendable - especially because he kept out Eddie&Muzhange. Come to think of it, looking at the Eagles total of 220, I wonder how high it would've been if Cremer had bowled at the death alongside one of Rainsford/Muzhange.

My feeling is Eales would've been all out, but closer to 250.

Anyway, Ballance follows up his poor captaincy by falling for just 4 runs! It worth noting that Malcom Waller&Ballnce were struggling against a potentially 6th string Zim opening bowling attack!

Vusi struggling as an opener=Duffin and drop to #3; Mutizwa/Malcom/Craig all struggling in the middle order=Ewing; Cremer struggling=Utseya or no one; Taibu not struggling=Regis the sub and ...... struggling=Rainsford! :D

Ballance really missed the trick. He'd rather be sitting with Rainsford who collected a 5-for and picked up the MoM instead that's for sure!

Brilliant 72 run partnership between Cremer and Rainsford! 12 overs at 6rpo. None of Elton, Chinyoka, Manatsa & Price could dislodge them - Price suffering the most during that partnership. Cremer got his back against Nathan Waller, and Muzhange, but it was never going to be enough!

Ballance gets to go away after tactically&practically depriving the Rhinos of rare cup success. Don't come back!

How long did it take to get there? (1st List A 100, any chance he'll get one at international level?)...and significant score from time to time, ....would that be something like ONE fifty in the last 12 months (19 innings) at ODI level....just asking about the "young" man ( ok personally I think he is one our most overrated players and survives due lake of any competition to his number 7 ODI spot, forget Test)...

a bit of a contradiction ... if he owns the spot, then picking him is not over-rating him. he's getting slowly back into form is Elton - right at the end of the season unfortunately :)

Forgive me for challenging hhm's bias when it comes to Chigs, Panyanga, Rainsford, Duffin, Ewing, Matsi....and allow me to stand above it all and congratulate Chigs on a Stella performance, same to Rainsford. And also congratulations to Eagles as well. But Chigs on the whole remains overrated for me, but on this game alone, superb!

ok - i guess we have a different interpretation of 'over'rate. i took it to mean when someone is getting a spot based on one-eyed-observations: if EC has no competition, by my definition, he can't be overrated. but there you go! each man makes up his own definitions i guess.
