Can we leave this? It's pointless.
This is mainly why I've opted not to buy into a lot of the topics on this forum in the last few years. I've got friends that are still involved at ZC and some not are no longer, but have been the butt of harsh and very much unwarranted criticism from many who, whilst they have a keen interest in the state of zim cricket, don't have an intimate knowledge of the system or structures.
It's been pretty clear from the moment he started posting that jonty has been involved as more than a fan, and it's pretty clear that googly was getting worked up bcoz of something. and now we know why.
In my opinion healthy debate is good and there are many issues within zim cricket that elicit the sorts of emotions that have been seen in many posts over the past month or so. but I do think that this forum, which was once an incredibly welcoming place for the few zim fans (in comparison to other major players), has since changed its tone slightly. And yes, if I don't want to be apart of it, I don't have to be, I can leave, I can choose not to engage. i left the forum for 3 years becoz of this. My choice. Ive come back and now instead of typing this or that to engage in a bit of convo with people whose opinions i value regarding cricket, i now have to prepare for a barrage before i click submit. at which point once i hesitate i then just click X instead of submit.
