And Hami himself has been denied opportunity till date to represent his country in the 50 over World Cups as if he is some ill omen. Can't be true.
2003 - He was away at University. Would have been in the team on merit and would have made the XI on merit too, unlike Matsi, and could have avoided all the mudslinging that happened around selection.
2007 - He was seen as a longer format specialist when we had no test status, what were they saving him for? And we had very few people with any experience at all in the squad. Still this guy was left out!
2011 - Six months of indifferent form, and S. Ervine from ether comes into the 15 at his expense, then Mawoyo, then Duffin! Where did the "slow for this format" theory go there?
Hami has been one of the most ill treated players in Zim Cricket (not that anybody else is treated any better)
It is also a well-known 'fact' that Hami is hated by Owen Chirombe, which has led to a number of controversial decisions being made against him.

I have it from a reliable source that the Southern Rocks' pitch was built on a Native American burial site. That's why they struggle so much (the Rocks, that is.)
