Personally, I think Zimbabwe does pretty well when we have a strong lower order batting ( like Streak/Bliggy/Ervine era). Last year in Bangladesh, we had pathetic middle/ lower order, which was the reason behind our whitewash. Since the return of Cremer I think our lower batting has been doing a good job, and we don't bundle out quickly like before. Whatmore has fixed our opening batting problems, and middle order looks solid as usual. I think it's about time we give opportunities to PJ or Burl( heard he is keeps occaissionaly) as wicket keeper batsman. Chigumbura is OK, but I wouldn't put him in the side solely as batsman. He needs to bowl in every matches, otherwise he doesn't deserve to be in the team. It's better to have energetic and aggressive players such as Nyumbu, Bobby, Raza etc than someone like Chigumbura, Propser or Vusi( look grumpy, lazy and low in confidence) :D . I would give chance to either Mire(if he returns) or to Jongwe in place of Chigs. I like the idea of going with spinners, as we tend to do well in ODIs when we have few good spinners in the side. Remember those days when we had Price, Utseya and Lamb bowling tight spells. Since our fast bowling looks miserable, I would fix this problem by bringing bunch of spinners in the team. However, in test matches I would go with strike bowlers either Vitori or Tripiano along with Chatara. I am positive either one of Jarvis or Keegan Meth would return in a year or so.
