Folks who find the link to streaming, please do share.

The only ODI between the two countries happened as part of the 2003 World Cup, which Zim won easily with quality all-round contributions from Streaky (MoM) and Blignaut, and good shows by Murphy and of course, AF.

Tim de Leede had played in that match for NL, and his son is in their 13 man squad for this series.

KNVB Cricket are live streaming on Youtube and KNVB Cricket website, so there should be no issues with streaming. They teamed up with a New Zealand company to do so.

IX i'd like to see:

Kamunhukamwe

Moor (wk)

Taylor

Ervine

Williams

Raza

Burl

Tiripano

Ndlovu

Jarvis

Chatara

Obviously Hamilton will play, so I think Burl will miss out.

Any idea why this is happening in Deventer and not in more well known grounds of Amstelveen or Rotterdam?

There is going ot be live streaming? f**k yeah! What does it say about me, that I will be tuning into watch at least part of this series while the World Cup is in full swing??? 😂

Gone are the days when there aren't streams of any cricket matches.

Looking forward to watching a quality stream for this series, last time Zimbabwe toured for List A games in 2017 the stream was very good, although the commentary was pretty boring, hopefully they have a few Zimbo guys there.

As for the lineup I think the only question is 'Burl or Ndolvu' ?? Rajput doesn't seem to spring many surprises so I don't think we will be seeing Moor open or Kamunhukamwe in the side, more than likely Mire & Hamilton to open with Ervine & BT to follow.

Personally I'd like to see BT open for this series with Ervine & Williams at 3 & 4 but it won't happen.

Looks like the weather could f**k us

I saw that Vusi Sibanda was over there at the moment, not sure if he is involved with the team somehow but if not he could be there to commentate.

Edit: never mind, think he was just with them before they left.

I saw that pic too. But looks like he was with the women's team? Has he earned himself some management / coaching role with the women's team by any chance? If so, what qualifications does he have?

BT looking good but Willy needed to just accumulate went for the big shot though.

An almost classical over-excited Williams' dismissal, 6 and out.

Yeah 100%

Way too many shots being played out there, Ervine perished the same way and Raza has already had a big swing and miss. Just need to push on to a decent score 107-4 is very precarious spot to be in.

Just checked out the stream and saw that Six hit by Taylor as the first piece of action!

But we are in doldrums overall...
205/8, not too terrible a score but cheap cheap dismissals from Hammy, Mire, Ervine, Williams, Moor and Raza. That's 6 of the top 7! Tiripano stuck around and Jarvis played a very handy 32*(30) but overall we could've hit 240+ if one of the aforementioned lads went on to at least 30 or 40. Anyways, it's done. Hopefully Jarvis and Chatara are in full swing and wishing Ndlovu a happy debut!

Wicket on first ball bowled on debut! Well done Ndlovu! :W:

How come there was no correction of target due to DLS even though the shortening of the game happened after Zim had played a few overs assuming it would be a 50 over game?
:W: another one bites the dust! Golden arm this Sean Williams!

Good question.

I've been trying to calculate it based on Example 1

If I calculated correctly, I get 207, so only one extra run added.

I guess we should be happy Zimbabwe are playing cricket again? I guess this confirms we have no argument about being included in the CWC.

Pretty much a full strength zim team and comfortably beaten by the Dutch . Once again relying on Taylor to make a decent score for us to have any chance of even winning. Pretty embarrassing if you ask me , but credit to the Dutch they have some very good players and also have the potential to be a challenging cricket nation . Once again the pain of going for zim , this is what happens when you don’t play regularly or invest in the game .
