Some of these series can be negotiated with the boards . We have a free window after the New Zealand tour ..... something can be squeezed there .

Problem is, incoming tours cost money (travel & accommodation inside the country is the host board's responsibility), and ZC are broke.
No-one wants to host us, as we're not seen as money-making prospects. Although if we keep playing like we did today, that might change..!

The team we currently have is performing as well as we've played in test cricket for a long long time in my opinion. The emergence of Waller, Jarvis and the coming of age of Captain Fantastic and Sibanda are signs of a bright future. More players will come into the fold such as Cremer and Ervine perhaps, but as long as we keep this spirit up, and our pride at heart, I think we can be a very competitive side in the not too distant future.

Both Wallers, son and father, scored 50 in their debut test. Andy made 50 against Eng in second innings and the talented son did even better by scoring 72 and remaining unbeaten in first innings.

You have supported the team through thick and thin.Members of this forum have acted like a think tank with every defeat or win , new possible solutions or congratulatory messages are posted . This forum i suspect has also helped to shape policy in zim cricket some who visit are influential people in cricket. So well done again and may you remain committed, with commitment will get there.

wonderful subject line too Dr. Situ, thats exactly how I felt as well, despite being devastated with the defeat. We have played 3 tests since our return, and we have been stunning in all of them, as compared to our earlier efforts. We have probably lost a couple of sessions each in the test Vs against Pak, and a couple against NZ, but we have been more that competitive in all other sessions. Proud of our display so far. Absolutely happy for the guys who have stuck with the national team to produce the goods like this.
