This Cartwright guy is over-rated. Ther is far more hope for Zimbabwe in Solomon Mire than there is in this guy.
Goes to show the Logan Cup/Pro50 are not so bad. That's whee Mire honed his skills until recently.
Futures/U23 can't be as good as good as ZImbabwe's domestic setup.

Don't forget these guys are playing against full strength Australian State teams facing the likes of Starc, Pattinson etc whilst also bowling to Smith, Marsh, Maxwell etc ......

Cartwright playing a Gem of an innings today, Hilton has a great technique and very strong hitter reminds of the good Zimbo all rounders like Streak, Evans, Friend etc ......

He's done well for himself. Should get his List A average into the 20s. :D
In truth I only recognise Boyce & Cutting. Queensland can no doubt do better than Boyce for a spinner, but Cutting is an excellent 2nd change seamer.
Most Shield sides have overhauled their players and contracts I think, but this is probably Queensland's weakest side ever.
Not to take anything away from Cartwright, this is an excellent achievemnt, even though arguably the craziest ever cricket over denied him a milestone. No chance he'll play for Australia, or hold down a regular spot in any format for a Shield side (only Marcus Harris seems remotely up to scratch) so he - together with Mire - best get on a plane and go to Zimbabwe after this AUS cricket season. :)

Since I was five, I was playing with dad in the backyard in Zimbabwe. It had always been my goal to play for Zimbabwe, but when our situation changed and we came here, I wanted to get that Baggy Green and these are my first steps playing for WA and the Scorchers.

Boyce is a very good limited overs bowler has represented Australia in t20 and played well in BBL ......
Cartwright will be part of the Scorchers this BBL and WACA shield team ......
