Im pleased to give you detailed analysis on the proceding at Harare sports club as at 17 june 2012.

Im happy the guys played extremly well, though they were 1 or 2 blamishies esp. Cris Mpofu fielding. On arrival at Harare sport club , Streak should have sensed that Mpofu was going to drop a catch, cz as all the other guys had already gone bak to the dressing room , Mpofu stayed behind practicing his catching. Just like in the match he droped a couple during his practise session, I hope he improves on that.

Going into the match,Zimbabwe looked calm from the onset. Masakadza then raised the tempo continuing with his form from the NZ T20 in January.Smashing boundaries at will he quickly raced to the thirties before his partner Vusi was stumped. Vusi slightly strugled to get to terms with Razza spin. I think the stumping was a result of Masakadza strike rate as he felt that he was scoring slow. The introdution of Brendon Taylor gave a different dimension to the game. It resulted in Zim favouring rotating the strike as opposed to trying to find boundaries. But as things looked steady and Zim set for a big total, a lazy Masakadza through away his wicket away with an unexpected run out.In came Ervine. With Zimbabwe in Desperate need of a left it was left to him to show his class. The fact that they is no compertion for left hand batsman. Craig ran himself out continuing his misary perfomance with the National team. The other bats man Sloged their way to double digits they tried to score as fast as they could

Coming to Zim bowling. Mpofu started badly spraying 3 wides with his 1st deliveries, much to the booing fans. He quickly gained his composure and bowled well in the next overs.Jarvis was a bit costly in the early overs as Iqbal looked comfortable when facing him. Chigumbura produced couple of edges from Iqbal but fortunately for him they flew over for 4s.Cremer and Usteya stoped the flow of boundaries with Uteya providing the break through. Mpofu caused the second blamish of the daay when he droped a catch at the boundary. However he redemed himself when he took a wicket in his next over with a brilliant catch at the boundary by Javis. I think the man of the moment yesterday was debutant R Muzhange. Considing he was on debut , he bowled extremely well. His 1st over was very tight. When Bangla looked to take the match to Zim he clean bowled Mushfiqur Rahim to turn the match to Zim favour. With everything indicating a Zim Win, Javis came up with Execelent bowling torward the end as he bowled his pin point yorkers to fruastrate the visitors on a day they we outplayed most of the time

Things to correct before the SA game.

1. Must not drop simple catches

2. Not to through wicket to silly run outs.

Overally here is my rating to the players on a score of 10

Masakadza 8

Sibanda 4

Taylor 6

Ervine 2

Matsikenyere 6* ( a couple of boundaries he played gave use the momentum till the end)

Chigumbura 5

Cremer 6 ( best batting strike rate after facing 6+ balls)

Utseya 6 ( stoped the flow of runs and brought the break through)

Muzhange 7 ( good yorkers at the end and considering he is on debut)

Javis 7 ( good yorker and catch at the boundary)

Mpofu 6 ( best economy and 2 wickets but a drop catch cost him an 8)
