Coltart was guest speaker and apparently ran riot over ZC, as much as I was not a fan of Coltarts shenanigan over the selectors issue, I feel we lost a good minister in the last election, someone who genuinely seemed to work for the people. Pity the people were not results based.

This whole initiative looks pointless for now. Even if one sees it as Streak looking for his own well being, I don't see anyone gaining anything out of this at this point.

Too many people involved with cricket in Zimbabwe trying to build their own little empires. If only everyone could work together for a common goal.

Not Streak's fault if his evident nous is not valued. Down here (SA) former players like Cullinan has his own school of excellence. Can't see any harm.
Good luck to Heath, and if he makes a few bob on the way, even better, he unlike others deserves it.

No-one can work for free. He has to make a decent living out of it. That's what the top ZC guys can't understand, they think everyone must live like paupers so they can style. But where is he going to going to get the revenue stream from? I don't know what Heath's plan is but I would like to see any up and coming player derive benefit from his knowledge, not just black guys coz he's trying to curry favor or the fact that that's the key to the means of income.
This plan of expanding the grass roots level I have a real issue with. Whilst our National team is getting killed and they're not getting paid there's no plan to expand cricket. Am I the only one that understands this simple concept? The national guys need to be winning and happy. The franchise system needs to be healthy, then the club system needs to be revamped, then the top cricket schools (both junior and senior) need to have proper coaches, schedules and more games. The games need to pit strength against strength in order to improve our cricket. You fix things from top down not bottom up. Always. Any other way is a communist mentality and it simply doesn't work. We have to consolidate what we have, not further weaken it. The proof is there for all to see.
I believe that unless something radical is done within the next 12 months we are finished. Things are that bad. Everyone calling for this guy to replace that guy in the national team is a joke. We simply are not good enough. There's no magic and no one player that will turn our fortunes around. It's also time for the national players to make a stand about the maladministartion within ZC. The senior players that are being looked after on the quiet to keep the younger from complaining need to be exposed and they need to go as well. Shame on you!

I totally agree with this statement. But ZC has been very good at playing people around, to bite each other, rat on each other and divide and rule basically. They have to draw a line somewhere, cos what they don't know id that it will improve their lot as well if they make a stand.

A mass player strike now would be crippling for ZC, I doubt even the ICC would stand for another 'rebel exodus'.
