He has a very valid point. HSC grass nets are in shocking condition. Touring teams are always provided with local net bowlers as well. There's usually a queue of guys wanting to bowl against international batsmen but somehow one couldn't be found. We have some great net bowlers that are always hanging around HSC and get used to death by Mash Eagles and often don't get paid their $10 a day. Pretty sure Bangladesh were offering them more than that yet no-one pitched up?? Methinks they were read the riot act if they pitched up to bowl at the Bangladeshis. How rude is that?? One of our u16 quicks, Matigimu pitched up and bowled at them, gave them some hurry up as well, by all accounts. Great experience for him.

Had our age group coaches been more pro-active this would have been a wonderful experience for the boys. Yet again we miss a trick, plus it's just plain rude, but what's new?

I would take the threat of "wait until Zim come to Bangladesh" seriously. Pretty sure they could make it very difficult for us. Just the food will be a big challenge, never mind the practice facilities.

The people who proposed the Vic Falls ground and the ones who support it should be euthanized immediately. When will it ever be used and by whom? Who will maintain it? Who will build it? It's an amateurish scam to raise funds that will be misappropriated before and during the building of it. Sadly it will probably go ahead. Imagine what we could do with those funds if used to upgrade existing club facilities where people could actually play cricket and we could resurrect the First League that we so desperately require. Take a look at the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex, one of the biggest scams and white elephants in the history of sports' complexes. If anyone had a jot of business sense we could now breed ducks and frogs there (if it had water!!) for sale to the 600 seater Chinese Restaurant for our new colonizers.

That light story is a joke as well. Those things have been sitting in Customs for years because there was an invoicing scam. Just lock the people up who were involved in it and ask the relevant Minister to release the lights immediately so we can get on with it. They should have been duty exempt anyway!!!!!!!!!! How hard could this have been? If Chingoka and Bvuti couldn't have done this years ago with their government connections they shouldn't be in charge. What's going on?
