Opening post

He seems to be suffering from the same delusions as his captain...nothing a little humble pie cant cure...
what a absoloute arrogant little p***k. its unlucky i got out ?? tamim u made 15 in the first innings and 43 in the second ? you should work on your batting and contribute more to the team before you judge our young bowlers who got you out in both innings . just keep leaving balls on the stumps and the jokes on you. just remember you are a opening batsman for bangladesh not india or england , you play for a minor team. this made me soo angry we havent played a test in 6 years and you have not been able to do anyhting with your test status . good luck you arrogant sad man
just over the bangladeshis thinking they are a power house nation they have one consistent good player and that is shakib. tamim has talent but his head is up his own ass so he will never be a great, he doesnt have the mind power or heart to bat a whole day, he made one good score against enngland.we are already better test nation than them

Yes he is a nasty piece of work but he is a classy player average of over 40 and thats against good opposition. I suppose all the more reason for his frustrations. Yeah gutter trash his attitude is but a decent player...lets not behave like him...
aaaha yes i know u were buddy. i apologise
I'm with doggy on this one. It is nice to hear something different in otherwise mundane press conferences. It was stupid in the fact that it should motivate Vitori and Jarvis but then again both these bowlers mightn't be any good, he is the one whose faced them and remember they both are only 1.5 innings through there test careers. Lets hope Jarvis and Vitori can make Tamim eat his words.
well im sure glad im not Tamim Iqbal right now! 9th test win on the cards, super!

Tamim is a class player and infact was correct when he said that Bangladesh would win if they didn't do anything stupid. Bangladesh's approach to batting today was rather perplexing. It seems once Ashraful went they just gave up. Tamim will be dangerous in the ODIs and will be seeking revenge.
My All-time Zimbabwe XI
Neil Johnson, Brendan Taylor, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), David Houghton, Sean Williams, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Paul Strang, Eddo Brandes, Blessing Muzarabani

Dr Situ calm down! Reading this I can just imagine you throttling Tamim lol! Zimbabwe made them eat their words...in a big way.

Just see how true my prediction was :D :D :D :D Look at the guts of "Ordinary-Tamim" after being cleaned up by Mpofu he couldnt even acknowledge the "extra-ordinary" delivery...lol. He know Steyn and now will not forget names of Vitori, Jarvis and Mpofu ever. Even if he does, i will travel to Dhaka to remind him of his below "ordinary" claims :D :D :D :D :D :D

Ordinary is one of those words that can be vague

All of a sudden in a way I kinda feel sorry for the dude and that he may have been misquoted. Lost In Translation! And when he tries to tell Vitori what he actually meant

ZIMDOGGY wrote:Maybe he meant: "I'm Tamim and I have tamed the greatest bowlers in this universe, and while you think yourselves very blessed to have unearthed two decent quicks where you had none before they are not Dale Steyn, Brett Lee or James Anderson."

Again maybe Tamim has made a statement to say dont get too excited about these guys, they are not as good as you think they are. And that is his opinion, he must now back his words with actions. Through out the whole series we will be watching the first 10 overs so far its Vitori 1 - Tamim 0 we will take an average at the end of the day. Now tehre is video footage of Vitori and Jarvis, by the time Pak and definitely NZ, then we will start to get a clearer picture. I am certainly hoping they are the real deal.

Its also the teams job to psyche each other up and be positive to each other. I certainly never expected that from my opponents, I EXPECTED them to come with everything they had, I even a expected a couple of beamers.
