NewZealand aren't exactly blessed with much depth these days and the fact Colin DeGrandhomme can't make an A Tour for NZ must be of concern to him ......

Maybe NZ just blooded him to put a " Lay buy " on him so he cant revert back to Zimbabwe if he desired to play International cricket .....
His stats are decent nothing special not sure if he will really establish himself in the national side over there .....

I think he would have been a useful contributor for Zimbabwe. Could have been another much needed allrounder.
My All-time Zimbabwe XI
Neil Johnson, Brendan Taylor, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), David Houghton, Sean Williams, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Paul Strang, Eddo Brandes, Blessing Muzarabani

Would slot in perfectly into Maruma's No. 4 spot and bowl some good overs .....
Just another good player who wised up and f***ed off .....

im sorta surprised NZ doesnt poach more players to be honest.
They could go after one of the younger kids and have a ready made player in 4 yrs time
i think perhaps there money situation aint the best either.
NZ is a first world country but surprisingly economically poor.
