Opening post

lets be honest matsikenyeri is old news. that guy sucks. with the current crop of batsmen we have he doesnt stand a chance. & wat ever line is chosen the 3C's must play, Coventry, Chigumbura & Chibhabha
All you guys are just not serious. None of you have even mentioned Vitori. Its as if you have not been following the news for the past 3 weeks. Be careful you might expose yourselves.

Aha my bad! In place of his reserve I'd have Matskinyeri...give him a go

Matsi!!! Not you too. As another enlightened reader has said, the guy is yesterdays news and sucks. I think we should aim to field our strongest lineup in all forms of international cricket. Zimbabwe, fairly or unfairly, is constantly judged on every performance and every result contributes to the evaluation of our future as a cricketing nation. Plus there is nothing like winning!

1. Brendan Taylor

2. Hamilton Masakadza

3. Tatenda Taibu

4. Charles Coventry

5. Craig Ervine

6. Elton Chigumbura

7. Prosper Utseya

8. Graeme Cremer

9. Ray Price

10. Brian Vitori

11. Christopher Mpofu
My All-time Zimbabwe XI
Neil Johnson, Brendan Taylor, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), David Houghton, Sean Williams, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Paul Strang, Eddo Brandes, Blessing Muzarabani

so no brendan taylor our most dangerous batsman and skipper?
simply the best team mate , raza , coventry butterworth are all proven t20 players so therefor pick yur best t20 team its simple. if it was a B team i would have set pick yur secon best team

Jemisi wrote:Butterworth - a proven T20 performer?? He had a single good domestic tournament. Assuming he will set the word on fire is something else.

he was the leading run scorer and how else can he prove hes a proven t20 player he has done nothing in the one dayers just in thw t20 shows hes a t20 player there for pick him? never said he will set the world on fire either jemisi just saying hes far more obvious choice than sumone like ervine , chibabha ect

Haha our most dangerous batsman? For real? :/ Chigumbura, Coventry, Masakadza and Mutizwa are much more aggressive and dangerous than Taylor. It's T20.
when in form taylor is our most destructive batsman and most inovative

Jemisi wrote:How anyone could be voting for BRMT to be out of the T20 team is beyond me. He is in a different class to most of our players.

thank you
