That's ok brm, and I understand both your perspectives with Conant. Bear in mind that this kind of script has played itself out countless times in Zimcricket. So for yours & his sake, let's hope Vitori really outdoes himself in that Test and ties down that spot, as opposed to misfiring badly then falling behind Jarvis & Meth(who have the ingredients to make it stick), before completely tumbling into obscurity! At this moment I quite fancy the latter, that is if my money is on the line. You put it well Conant when you say time will tell. Indeed it will in this matter of ours. On the part of Mawoyo & Chakabva however, I don't need time to know that they will continue to be substandard internationl cricketers. However, Vitori has the makings of a star. Except, his stage is not set yet.

I am fairly certain that Mawoyo is not of test standard. I am not yet certain about Chakabva. He has played some useful knocks in limited overs cricket but as of yet he hasn't transferred that usefulness to the longer format. I am tending to feel that he isn't of test standard but I think there is still room for him to prove me wrong. I guess not everyone can be Craig Ervine.

I think AC was playing the mind games, badly if I may add. Vitori is in and everyone knows that, the Bangladeshi weren't fooled.

This is a tough one. What will the weather be like? And pitch? If Meth can swing the ball, then I'd give him the spot. Utseya can bat and if selected that will be his main role - batting at 8. Cremer is out, so there's no worry of overpacking the spinners. Oh, he's a handy, experienced bowler as well. Longer term Utseya will take Price's spot but for this match, I'm leaning - ever so slightly - towards Meth, only because we've played so many spinners against this opposition before.
