I believe that this was first agreed in Nov. Apparently Zim are planning to use it on an enhanced A-team programme. Good idea. Let's hope it comes to reality!
Also, how do West Indies, the world T20 champions no less, deserve hand out than anyone else??

WI gets $3m and we get $1.5m? :? I guess it's better than nothing, this should help Mushangwe & Co. get more international experience, which can only be a good thing.

Exactly. There is already meant to be a decent national team programme for 2013, so if the A-team can play more regularly, we might start to see some genuine progress... Hopefully this will also help prop up franchise cricket, perhaps even re-introduce that third round of Logan Cup fixtures we have all been calling for (and I guess the corresponding OD games as well)...
