Explosive Zimbabwean batsman Charles Coventry has signed to play for Dosti in the Netherland's Topklasse Competition.
Last seasons' runners-up have secured the former international star to replace last seasons' coach David Wiese who finished third in the Topklasse all-rounder's rankings last summer.
Coventry, who recently opened the batting with Simon Katich for Duronto Rajshahi in the Bangladesh Premier League, will join his new club towards the end of April.
The 29-year-old is now an experienced campaigner, having made his first-class debut at 15 years and 303 days - the youngest player to play first-class cricket in Zimbabwe.
Another record followed a decade later, when after a three year absence from the national side, he made a headline-grabbing return equalling the record for the highest individual ODI score by blasting an unbeaten 194.
He has since become something of a T20 specialist courtesy of his explosive batting approach. Coventry will certainly be a player to look out for during the forthcoming Dutch season.
