As it turns out not much, as Rhinos compile a mammoth 313 for 5 in their allotted 50 Overs, courtesy of yet another 100 from Gary Ballance.
(If this man won't commit to Zimbabwe. I don't know why we are helping England cause so well by sharpening his skills so drastically in Zimbabwe. As hhm says, throw him out I say *wink*) :D

Totally agree Conant, he must not play if he is a Zimbabwean who wont commit to Zim, but he has set an example to our national players on how to dominate in the FC level.

I'm stilll not sure why everyone is so het up about Ballance, Querl, Ervine etc
Ballance is a young man who has every right to plan his future how he thinks best, if nothing else then he shoild be treated like any other 'overseas' player who's far superior ability should be used by other Zim batsmen in attempting to better their own game
Why is Ballance such a better batsman ?
Why has Querl been so successful ?
I think it's far better to try answering questions like those than being openly hostile because they won't do what others think they should

I agree Train Driver. You want guys like Ballance playing in Zimbabwe, if for no other reason than it means the local bowlers get a taste of what it's like to bowl to someone who has class. That's the only way they can improve themseleves - by playing against the best.

Mountaineers now 116 for 2 after 21 overs with Tymcen Maaruma, batting at four, undeafeted on 41 and England import Mark Pettini on 50. With the current ran rate well on par at 5.48 runs an over, it remains to be seen how much longer the Mountaineers can keep it up

Im one of Garry's biggest haters on this forum but quietly and slowly he has won me over with shear weight of runs and that in part is due to the hard work he puts in . I wish i was rich tycoon pay his wages and a home for the lad to play 4 Zimbabwe 4 good. I will now shift my focus from the ouright banning of all things Sean Williams to a full on campaign to have ZC to offer the bigggest and Baddest Bat in the Midwest a fat ZC contract fire the lot of th board and management and have the money go to Qerel and balance .

Precisely. Look at some of the mediocrity that was playing in this game, the presence of someone like Ballance is pretty much essential to stop these games without the national players being the equivalent of grade 3 or 4 standard...

Our guys need to work out how to get Ballance out. They need to be able to dismiss quality batsmen.
