He could have been our wild card since we know he has pace and bounce, something we've been lacking, and something that could be handy on the subcontinental wickets on India, sri lanka and Bangladesh...

I agree.

Ed :“What also makes the situation worse is that I am not sure whether I will be able to play the game again.

An old article but stressing on the gravity of the situation. Ed's comment is expected of every patient who undergoes surgery. However we need to know the reality. Few reports above indicate hamstring injury and few quote right ankle ligament injury which are entirely different. What actually is his injury? Jeff has also reiterated on facebook that It's not as bad as the article made it look. the reporter makes it seem as if Edy has to go through some form of apputation or something that drastic.
Zim fanatic since 1987
panyangara is a lazy slob.i dont think he has a job to go back to as he was also involved with vermulen with disruptions in umtali {mutare} over unpaid wages from fat phil.his bowling at the world cup was nothing short of crap.

Panyangara has been rather poor this tournament. They should stick with Mpofu and hope that Jarvis, Nicolson, and Chitara develop. And Shingi too once he stops going for ten an over.
