Well played but not enough in the end. Kamungodzi bowled far better than I expected, but Ncube seems to have served up far too many 4-balls ... at least every time I looked at the ball-by-ball scorecard he got tonked for 4. Still a lot of positives to take from the match.

I was live at the ground, to be honest with Ervines form l was very critic of him. But after watching him yesterday score 49 runs at more than a run a ball , l now have a different thought about him. Honestly is is a bit nervous early on, he was almost caught and bolwed before he even scored. When he settles he starts playing super shots, Like the 6 he hit, it was more of a reverse sweep, He just used the pace of the bowler for 6. I think he just has to have more confidence earlier on.

Great to hear that Craig was in great form. He does tend to get bogged down early on, but once has got a few runs he is one of the best batsmen in the game.

Good to hear. If Craig get's in the form he has the potential to get into, he can be as good a test batter as we've ever had as he has the correct technique, and the shots to boot. Imagine Ervine at 5 and an in form Williams in the side to :( oh! Tis' good to dream! :D
