To be quite honest, our fielding has been exemplary today. And most pleasing of all, I think this might be the first time in a long time when everything Utseya has done captaincy wise was 100% on the money.

Chigumbura is man of the match as far as I'm concerned. Great all round performance. The batting could have been a bit better, but the fact that we defended (quite comfortably) a modest total makes up for that.

That's a good start, but I remember the 2005 tour when we won the first two then went to pieces. The guys need to make sure the same thing doesn't happen this time.

Best possible start to 2009. Good to see Zim finally starting hammering IRLs, BANs.

Well done Zimbabwe!! I am so happy we managed to overcome and come back from a terrible batting perfomance. Chigumbura has a bright future ahead of him for sure! :)
