he's been nicknamed Sampson, hasn't he? ... who was his delila?

@ Flowerpower you said Rainsford for Mpofu ....Yes Yes thats what I would like to see, after watching the BD series we can all see that the "Balance" of the attack is not quite right they need a "Holding" type bowler in the team which I think should be Eddy Rainsford look at he's stats his average. strike rate and economy are all superior to Chris this is why I believe he should be in ahead of Chris. If you put any two of Jarvis, Chatara, Vitori, Shingi and / Mupariwa with Eddy plus the allrounder and a spinner I think you would have a better balanced attack. As for Mupariwa obviously me living in Aus I don't get to see much of the 1st class season in Zimbabwe so if you say he is not the same bowler thats fair enough and I take your word for it. The other point I was trying to make about Chrisis that I believe for a bowler of he's height and potential he should be a bit more "Intimidating" but I guess if that's not he's go than fair enough, so in this case I believe Ed Raisnford is the superior "Holding" type bowler and he should always be picked before chris ( form permitting ).

Now we are talking! :D

P.S. We must be careful though with Ed's figures as these were sometime back, before power plays and two new balls etc, but even if we use FC current figures he comes out tops. Although Chris comes out tops in List A. Shouldn't we take cognizance of the format, I.e. Ed should contain in Tests and Chris in ODI. Either way happy you see what I mean, and lot more objectivity thanks!

@ Flowerpower

Always happy to listen to others opinions, obviously living in Aus I dont get to debate Zimbabwe cricket much lol. Lets hope we see Chris Mpofu return from injury and take a heap of wickets for Zimbabwe and inspire a few more victories ...... Also would be very happy to see Eddy Rainsford back to :D :D
I hate to say it, but how certain are we this tour will actually take place? I suppose the BCCI do owe ZC one over the whole Tim May affair, because I don't think Brendan Taylor would have been told to vote for Tim May...

And here is the inevitable news that we have all been expecting:

Expect at least one of the Pakistan and Sri Lanka series to go the same way.

ZC recieves its fair share of abuse, and I'm sure much of it is justified. You do have to feel a great degree of sympathy for them sometimes though...

Yes, they would be buoyed by the India move now.
