In light of the new seasons tranfers i feel all Franchise teams have looked to England for most of their international players.I think in future they should go and dig for some players in the sub continent .Zim players have struggled and are not comfortable playing spin evidence being our last 2 series Banga and Pakistan .The experience will be handy as they will not freak out when they face the doosras

The problem with player availability will always be the clash of domestic seasons
England is the obvious place to pick up recruits while anywhere else will only get you players who either opt out of their own domestic structure or who haven't been selected within that structure
Fact of life i'm afraid and you'll only tempt good players to Zim if you can pay more than they get anywhere else, which isn't very likely

Frankly, I'd rather have hardened County journeyman than international stars. Horton is in his 3rd year with the Tuskers and while he's there he's not called up for England duties, so he stays in and maintains a high standard even when our own players are travelling.

True taking care of these guys is a plus , and it also improves their profile and status . Soon this is going to be a place where County Players who want to improve their game can come and get involved .
But my issue still stands , if we can perhaps go to Pakistan and get a few 18-20 year old players , flash some dollars , then we will get stronger . i am sure Zim will be an attractive destination to them .

andy blignaut came back for the t20 world cup and did nothing , he also played played a couple of odis and bowled decent . after the series he decided that he no longer had the desire and stepped away from the game. probaly a good thing seeing as he was 31 and a new era of zim cricket starting. not good for me but oh well :D im not to sure about strydom you will have to ask someone else buddy.
