Im shocked at those who have given Props to Querel and Vitori form the apparently not so knowledgeable ZCF

I beg to differ on the Querel debate i strongly feel that ZC and the Franchises are hiding chuckers in the form of Querel and Vitori. They doing their chucking thing grab bags of wickest with the chucked ball and then when they are under the camera on the international scene they seem to be short of pace as they cant afford to be caught chucking and the subsequent ban while they work to correct their actions,

International my friend no Cameras . Ask anyone in the franchise system and club leagues they will tell you that the wicket taking delivery is the chucker . The boy is a cheat and thats why he wont be selected for Zim tours . The coaches and Umpires know its a fact.

Bowler of the year: Shingi(family act - Shingi did well as a bowler in all formats, mostly domestic, but international as well those few times)

Rookie of the year: Querl

Most promising: LTGM

From the original article, it looks like the period begins with the NZ leg of our series, and hence, it does not involve Zim leg of the NZ tour. That was the only international series except the World T20. It could include the unofficial series vs Bangla and SA.

Given that, I quite agree with most of your picks, but Muzhange might give a run for the money Vs Shingi, Querl and LTGM.

However, if CrimsonAvenger is right, how on earth does Hami become batsman of the year, let alone cricketer of the year??? For the record in this period, the none existent test season he scored less than Creamer, just as many as Jarvis and Vitori, exactly 0 yes zilch, Taylor equally bad with 11...

ODI Hami scored 12runs, to contextualise, Less than Ray Price season of 40 runs, Taylor scored 127 at an average of 42 SR of 92

T20, which I personally don't rate, but that aside, I suspect this is where you are coming from, particularly the unofficial series vs Bangla and SA A side, which I suspect is 2012/13 (could be wrong), Hami made 114 two half centuries (vs NZ) and a HS of 62 at a SR of 119, that's excluding the unofficial tri team series, and including WC T20. Taylor was marginally inferior, making 82 a HS of 75* at a SR of 160, 

Taking all into account I am left head scratching how hhm and Crim get to Hami being batsman of the year....

....gargamel you could be very correct with your claims of chucking, unfortunately not all of us are in Zim to dispute this, without this luxury we only have the phenomenal figures to work with, however more importantly,your rebuttal still doesn't answer Jemisi's question what of his performances for the Unicorns, which are equally impressive? How do you explain those away?

that's not quite true!! Vitori has played all internationals and although at some angles his action looks decidedly dodgy, the fact is he hasn't been called (and at other angles his action looks ok). Querl i am surprised at - of course, i only have a few overs to have judged and he's not been called in Zim or the UK so maybe there's more to it than i thought but i never liked it much. Still, i am not a purist in any part of my life and if he's allowed to play internationally i'll be hoping he bags hatfuls....

possibly, but he's not done awefully since and wasn't given an outing in the WC (that i recall). he bowled against some decent (international) bats in the SBT20 and was impressive - he must have something going for him.
