Haven't seen these published anywhere. Surely a ZC press release is needed for this sort of information! How do you expect to generate interest in a tournament if no one knows when the games are to be played!

Three things to note. Firstly, these are probably subject to last minute change... Secondly only 8 first class games per franchise (as 11/22, but unlike 09/10 and 10/11 when there were 12). This is not a positive development in my opinion. The guys need to be playing as much first class cricket as possible, and I don't believe that 8 games per year is sufficient. At least the additional T20 competition will give the guys a bit more cricket than last year. Finally, it's a little disappointing that all the weekends are taken up with T20 and OD games. It would have been good if the franchise players were available to play club cricket at weekends. Gives them more game time, raises the standard and importance of the club competitions and provides the non-franchise players and youngsters playing at club level with a benchmark in terms of standard and professionalism.
