I just got a call from the ground saying that the outfield had been mown, AC had pitched up with Wayne James and we'd picked a decent combination and we were on top of Namibia despite a shaky start. Whining does pay. I sincerely hope AC and WJ have a word with the boys, praise from them will mean a lot.
Very wobbly series win, but a series win nonetheless.
I'm guessing that most/all of this side will be available for the U19 WC next year. Hopefully there will be plenty more fixtures for them between now and then!
Mashinge, Mavuta, Matigimu, Murwendo, Snyder, Murray, Keefe, Rossi, Kok, Huchu, Chiradza and Mupariwa are my top 12.
Of course if Evans, Byrom, Hopper, Welch, Snater, Curtis and King make themselves available then you're looking at a very serious side. A few of them might, but then it gets awkward who you leave out. A couple of them are just waiting for a decent coach/manager combination as they are tired of being d**ked around. Some really good players here with tremendous potential, and they've got some grunt as well. ZC will f86#k this up as usual. Campbell and ZC need to look into why Singo won't pick Kok, Huchu (should be captain) and Mupariwa (plays for Tuskers but can't make u19's?). Singo must go!!!

That's good news then. The more hands on AC is the better things will be IMO.
