Yes i agree i think to avoide it hapenning the powerplay needs to be taken around the 40th over

Sharereally unusual, team selection just as unpredictable, should at least have 3 pace bowlers to utilise the new ball, before the spinners come in.

Things looking a bit crazy again today then, a frightening Zim pace attack of Jarvis and Masakadza :shock:
I'm glad that Mutizwa has had a chance today, even more glad that he's taken it with some more runs. Well done to Utseya on his best ODI bowling figures and his rise to number 6 in the all time Zim ODI wicket takers, he's now just 3 behind Gary Brent as well, i still think he's a rubbish captain but his bowling form does seem to be coming back nicely. Another one deserving a well done is Hamilton Masakadza, he's become the 9th Zim batsman to pass 2000 ODI runs, there is the outside chance that a 10th batsman could reach that mark today as well, but i won't mention that just yet ....
The bowling has taken another hammering at times today, we won't be able to afford to give the Bangladesh batsmen these sort of starts or the scoreboard will be whizzing round in circles, i really hope that Mpofu and Garwe get the nod for tomorrow so that they don't have to start cold in Bangla, talking of cold, cricinfo seems to have frozen again .......

and Taylor finishes off, great redemption from thursday. Once again he proves why he is our best player and how much we needed his return to the side as he really boosts our batting. Still worried about the bowling though

I totally agree with you there. After the home Bangladesh series, I was among those calling for his head but he has answered his critics bowling wise. He still needs to prove his captaincy though and I believe there are many alternative candidates waiting in the wings.
Congratulations to the team for wrapping up the series. Now the pressure is off for tomorrow.

Tough luck on Matsikenyeri, he'll have to have another go for the 8 runs he needs to join the 2000 club tomorrow.
Great finish by BRM, 20 off the last 2 overs to wrap the series up, another loss today would have been really bad, really, really bad, but the batsmen have all done their bit to make sure of a win.
I feel rather sorry for Jarvis, a young and inexperienced lad should have someone out there to give him advice, he's probably had lots of general advice and support, but he should have another seamer out there with him, someone with experience.
Will we see Mpofu and Garwe tomorrow ? will Mutizwa and Waller get another chance ? will Chigumbura play ?
Thank goodness we only have to wait until tomorrow morning :D

A good win by the team today. I really hope we continue with Kyle Jarvis in the side, although an additional seamer to lend support would be advisable. I was glad Forster Mutizwa took his opportunity. Perhaps for the final ODI we could see (assuming Sean Williams is still injured);
