I find this statement borders on the bounds of being rather harsh and clearly there is a lack of understanding of how rubbish Mr Tiffin is. Lets not put the blame on the umpires sitting in this rain its clear that our boys were utter rubbish today didn't bowl to their lines and really when your rubbish like we are at the moment the lucky breaks wont come.


Yeah, you're probably right mate. The T20's do give valuable experience to local umpires.

The only time I remember Tiffin having an absolute shocker is Australia vs West Indies 2008. The poor bloke didn't get a single decision right.

Well fortunately there is Australia in the cricket. We've had a very good run there and I'm confident that Clarke will herald in a new (dominant) era of Australian cricket. I'm very much looking forward to the next Ashes series.

154 all out after 16.5 overs. All things considered, that wasn't a bad effort. Chibhabha, Taylor, Chigumbura, Jarvis and maybe even Mutizwa after that cameo can all take something positive out of these matches and into the ODI series. Considering the form of the New Zealand top order I don't hold out much hope though; I think the Test match will be a truer indicator of where the team is at. With Vitori back and maybe Lamb or Cremer depending on their injury status the bowling will be strengthened a fair bit.

well well i dont know if you fellas remember the 2010 grand finals :) i am a collingwood supporter :mrgreen: good to see some afl supporters here.

back to cricket a much better performance from the lads but im getting sick of losing . we are relying on the big names way to much and the likes of hammy , muitzwa ect need to start contributing more. special mentions to chigz , jarvis and chibabaha all played quiet well. bring on the odis !

i didnt realise how much we actually missed cremer , his batting was very underated and im sure he will come back stronger and bette. he is sucha rare talent and definately in our top 3 best players along side taylor and sibanda

Yeah, Cremer is a vital cog in our unit. Primarily for his legspin of course; I reckon he would have done very well in the Test matches against Bangladesh and Pakistan. The sooner he returns the better. For some reason he has gained a reputation of not being able to spin the ball a lot, I'm not really sure how that all started. Perhaps it's true in comparison to Shane Warne but he spins it considerably more than Price or Utseya and he has delivered some real pearlers over the years.

His batting is handy too; his innings against Australia in the World Cup was maybe not elegant but it was determined. I'd like to see him be good for a Test average of about 15 or so.

I wouldn't list him in our top three just yet because (from memory) he hasn't single handedly changed a match against a top team yet. He's been pretty consistent but hasn't produced that real game changing performance yet. For that reason I'd go with Taylor, Price and Taibu.
