😂 😂 That's precisely what happens when you descend into desperation. You start to hallucinate and the absence of a vote of confidence translates into dislike! I think your post is the one that's pursuing an agenda - 'that of discrediting my genuine thinking at all costs'.
Don't focus on the cast, but the plot and the characters they portray. My post has got nothing to do with my view of any players or their names, but everything to do with the fact that it's the same black player(s) who led the way when we returned to Test & ODI cricket. They're merely the icing on the cake, vindication of a successful policy, and the antagonists must've hated it!
Malcolm is poor. What has he achieved? Don't class him and Vitori in the same bracket. What Vitori lacks is stamina and first class experience. I never wanted him in the Test team because he would be eaten alive, and I still don't. Not yet! His chance lies in the short formats and I've said as much. As for your views that I dislike him...
Aus XI FC - 1st match:
Vitori has made a good case for himself and richly deserved to be among the frontrunners if they don't already view him to be so, but overall he's not the right proposition to bring out the desired results for us right now. In time, perhaps, but not just yet. He needs to spend a lot of time studying Vaas, Mitch & Zaheer among others and see how best to integrate their wickettaking abilities into his own repertoire, before he has the right tools. Otherwise he risks falling down the pecking order as he is not the real deal
Vitori has proven himself. Not enough to be a mainstay at this level just yet, in my view, but sufficient to ensure that this fast left-armer is natured and preserved with great importance, before being unsleashed when he's worthy weapon. I quite fancy the idea of him giving Smith anxious moments in the upcoming ODI tour.
Aus XI FC - 2nd match:
Great to have someone with an inside look. Vitori certainly looks like one for the immediate future. Keep us informed about his action, and generally the areas he hits. Jarvis got a hiding upfront, but I'm sure he'll pull himself together. Lack of match fitness will contribute to him & Mpofu, not to mention Razor.
Mpofu & Price underlined their class. Vitori solidified his status as a worthy contender despite any negative outcomes which may nevertheless await him in the second innings, if we get that far. Jarvis has, however, discounted himself despite any heriocs he may create in the second innings, again should we get that far. Elton remains a justifiable option.
Bangladesh Test
For me, my day was sorely focused on one man - Brian Vitori. I had never seen him at all, let alone bowl, apart from following Cricinfo commentary. From his recent form I had no doubt that he had what it takes, but as an inexperienced debutant, there was always justification in viewing his introduction as rushed, and fearing that he would have a forgettable afternoon thus laying the platform for his future to disintegrate. As if he heard me all along he was determined to prove me wrong and indeed he obliged. I was very impressed with him. For a debutant he bowled extremely well. To take the new ball under those circumstances is a sign that he has character, and much to my surprise, I discovered he could swing the ball too! He definitely possesses great ability.
When I returned following the Pakistan Tour after some time away(courtesy of the admins) my view hadn't changed:
The gradual decline of Brian Vitori into obscurity continues unimpeded. Only those who appear to have a suspiciously vested interest in his fairy-tale story growing even further, are blinded to that reality.
