Not playing to many matches or series on a trot has robbed Sean Williams of the opportunity to go through prolonged slumps. He is also not yet proven at Test level, his temperament is still very much in question. In fact, if you look at his two Test appearances you could wonder what all the fuss is about and why we should rate him higher than Vusi.
He's got great hands, plays spin as well as anyone in the side, with the same tendency to bring about his own downfall trying to dominate, and is as susceptible outside off-stump against half decent seamers as the rest of the lot.
All that said, I do so hope that he gets an opportunity to showcase his undoubted talent at the World Cup. I believe ODIs are his strongest suit. At the last T20 WC he wasn't outstanding either.

Williams has the highest percentage of 'innings per 50's' in ODI cricket so this is why we're all proclaiming he is the 'messiah' ( your words not ours ). Plus his bowling has improved out of site and now deserves to be rated as an all rounder not just a part timer ......
